Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte has said the north London club is at a big disadvantage to the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.
He said this is because United and Chelsea spent huge sums in the just concluded transfer window, something Spurs have not done to the same extent.
Tottenham brought in the likes of Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, and Clement Lenglet this transfer window.
The Italian was keen to point out that among the players that arrived at Tottenham, only Richarlison from Everton and Bissouma from Southampton warranted transfer fees, while the likes of Man United, Arsenal, and Chelsea were splashing the cash more freely.
The Red Devils invested heavily in the summer window, with the likes of Antony, Lisandro Martinez, and Casemiro, joining the club while Thomas Tuchel’s Blues spent big on Wesley Fofana, Raheem Sterling, and Kalidou Koulibaly.
