Ghanaian rapper Kwaw Kese has asserted that he was the one who brought dancehall artist Stonebwoy into the limelight when no one was prepared to give him a chance.
In a lengthy video shared online, Kwaw Kese was seen ranting on his social media platform, while recounting how he featured Stonebwoy on his songs at a time when nobody wanted to give him a chance at Quick Action studio.
He chronicled “Go and listen to my Give Thanks and Praise song because that’s the first song that I featured Stonebwoy on and as at that time he was at the Junior High School.
“But I put him on the song and after I featured him on another song which is titled No More but sometimes it pains me, that’s why this time I’m staying wicked.
I’m staying wicked because people will say that I’ve not put anybody on but ask Stonebwoy that time he was in JHS, at the quick action studio, and as at that time, nobody was even minding him.
“But me I took Stonebwoy and put him on the song and it was a hit and we did another one too which was also a hit,” he said.
