Rapper Medikal was shocked when he chose to fill his vehicle with fuel.
At a filling station prior in the week, the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker chose to get a full tank. His recording posted via online media showed he had purchased around 67 liters.
Be that as it may, the cost he paid was a stunner to him. Medikal needed to pay about ¢540, which he noted was a surprising increment from his past buys.
Medikal, in the wake of paying for the fuel, said he would purchase a pony sooner or later after the increment in costs.
The rapper contemplated whether the proposed presentation of the E-Levy had a say in the expansion in fuel costs.
Notwithstanding, the orderly clarified that the E-Levy bill has not been passed. He added that fuel costs increment didn’t relate with the duty and its proposed presentation.
The orderly noticed that there is plausible the costs would keep on expanding.
In the interim, on Saturday, February 26, a 15% expansion in Transport passages will apply for all street transport ventures inside the country.
The Ghana Road Transport Coordinating Council declared the addition following a long time of commitment with the different associations.
However, a portion of these associations have dismissed the proposed increase demanding they will execute a 30% climb as declared on February 17, 2022.
