Squid Game actor, O Yeong-su charged with sexual misconduct

Squid game actor, O Yeong-su has been indicted on charges of sexual misconduct after he allegedly touched a woman inappropriately.

Squid Game actor, O Yeong-su has been indicted by South Korean prosecutors on Thursday with charges of sexual misconduct.

According to reports, a woman claimed the Golden Globe winner touched her inappropriately in mid-2017.

The Squid game actor, O Yeong-su became the first South Korean actor to win a Golden Globe award for best supporting actor in a series.

The alleged victim was said to have filed her first complaint against the actor, Mr. O, in December last year. However, the case was closed in April without a charge being brought against Mr. O.

New reports have said that the prosecutor’s office in Suwon, south of the capital of Seoul, reopened the case and investigated the allegations, which Yeong-su has consistently denied.

According to Mr. O, he never touched the victim inappropriately as reported. He said he only ‘held hands with the woman to show the way around a lake’.

Mr. O is one of the popular actors in the Korean series titled Squid Game. Squid Game is Netflix’s most popular series of all time – is a thriller series that tells the story of debt-ridden people competing for a huge cash prize in a deadly series of children’s games.
